Year End Gratitude, Our Winner, and a Special Gift
Hello Wonderful, Creative You:
Well, you did it. We are almost at the close of the year, the holidays are over, and you’re still here. How did your self-care strategy work out this holiday? What did you do? Did you take things off your plate? Make more time for art? Participate in the photo challenge?
(Here’s a bit of what I did. It’s a tissue paper painting with chalk and white gel pen layers. VERY fun! If you missed the tissue paper video tutorial, just click the link.)
If you participated in the Instagram photo challenge, then you are eagerly waiting to find out WHO WON THE ART JOURNALING CLASS! I promise I will tell you. But first, I want to say a few things. (You can of course skip ahead to see the winner and then come back. I know I would!)
The insights, questions, and art you shared on the blog, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Google +, LinkedIn, and Twitter are such an inspiration to me. You enrich my understanding of each topic and help me take lessons closer to my heart. Thank you.
What are you thankful for? What’s been great in 2014? What little moments warmed your heart, or made you feel alive and full of joy? Was it time with your kids? An amazing outing with friends? A lovely hike? A little doodle that you found pleasing? Wouldn’t it be great if you and a bunch of other people all shared some of these little stories of beautiful moments in the comments? Would you get us started?
What’s Ahead in 2015
I am so excited to share the blog with you in 2015. We will have more art time, creative self-care, art therapy ideas, and helpful information about minimizing stress, anxiety, and depression.
If you like what you see here, would you please share the link? That’s the only way I reach wonderful folks like you. To do that, click one of the social media links at the bottom.
Whether or not you happen to be the one lucky, randomly chosen winner for this challenge, I want to facilitate you doing more art.
I know art has the power to soften and transform, or highlight and embellish our experiences. You can make the art work for you, like it does for so many artists and art therapy clients.
So, for the next 72 hours, I am offering a special coupon:
Get 25% OFF Art Journaling 101 Online
When you register here, just enter: HSC25 and hit “Apply” to save 25%. Be sure to enter it with CAPS exactly as shown (no quotation marks.) If you wait longer than the 72 hours, (aka after midnight on 1/3) the coupon will have expired and it won’t work. Don’t let that happen!
If you are thinking that an online art class is just the kick you need to get you going with some art in 2015, then let’s do it together! It’s going to be so fun connecting with you and seeing all the beautiful, authentic work you are doing in your journal.
And the Winner Is…
So, without further ado, I am so pleased to announce that our winner is:
