Round watercolor brush
Watercolor paints, I’m using Daniel Smith
Pencil
Drawing pen, I like Micron or a fountain pen, like Lamy Joy
Watercolor Journal:
I’m using a journal that I made just for the challenge. You can purchase a watercolor journal, or you can make your own, too! Find out more here about making accordion journals, coptic-bound journals, and my bi-fold simple stitch booklet. You’ll see that with my instructions, it’s so much simpler than you thought!

For the first day of the challenge, I thought it would be fun to do the first prompt together. I’ll be teaching a BONUS LIVE WORKSHOP! We will create the page above in the color scheme of your choice.
In this workshop you will:
- Choose a harmonious watercolor palette using your existing colors
- Transition from color to color
- Create pop and contrast using the white of the page
- Ground yourself with meditative art
- Connect with other creatives in small groups
