Guided Meditations and Visualizations

How do you sit down, breathe, and clear your mind? It can be such a challenge.

Having a guide in meditation and visualization has always been far easier and more enjoyable for me than trying to sit and “clear my mind.” With visualization, I reach my “inner landscapes”  where I feel calm and centered.

I hope that a few of these might help you too. I’ve included different natural scenes and techniques. Experiment and see what works for you.

Whether you are seeking relief from stress or you seek spiritual enlightenment and meaning, quieting the mind and body are excellent tools

For artists, using visualization and meditation  can be a great way to “clear out” before making art. In my experience, when I open myself to being a “channel” for the art work, rather than a “doer,” the work takes on a much deeper feeling. This for me is an important part of my spiritual life.
