Art Journaling 101 Workshop?

Hello creative people! I am so excited to announce that I will be offering Art Journaling 101 this fall. The workshop is open to anyone, whether you are a client, colleague, or someone from the community at large. Come join us if:

*You would like to learn some new techniques to use in your art journal

*You want to be inspired by others’ creative ideas and make art in a community setting

*You are a creative person, aspiring artist, artist, or wish you were one of these!

This is not an art therapy group, but a technique-focused art workshop on how to use art journaling as a way to express and de-stress. It’s open to clients, friends, and community members alike. I hope that you will join the fun!

      HI Laura:
Thanks for dropping in to Maricle Counseling’s blog! It sounds like maybe you are currently making art, and maybe art journaling? I’m so curious what sorts of techniques you use most. I think the class will be great because not only will I be able to offer my approaches, but in seeing others’ art, folks will get even more ideas, as you say. I will be posting more details very soon.
      All the best,

      Amy

I am very much interested! I have an art journal and am looking for new techniques and also some courage to be more experimental! 🙂 I find courage by being with other courageous, creative people!

      HI Laura:

Thanks for stopping by. I too find much courage in creating art with others. Sometimes just seeing someone else’s technique, or the way they apply color to a page can help free me from my own fear of “screwing up.” Stay tuned for more information about the workshop!
