Art Therapy Podcast: Sara Roizen on the Beauty of Being an Art Therapist

The Beauty of Being an Art Therapist

I recently had the opportunity to have an artist date with the lovely and inspiring Sara Roizen, the artist and art therapist behind the Art Therapy Spot blog.

If you’ve ever trolled around Pinterest for inspiration for mandalas, you’ve almost certainly seen her spiritually seated, authentic, and grounded work. I promise to share more about our artist date, how we connected, and some fun pictures of our art in a future post.

Today I want to share our rich conversation. I asked Sara about what drives her to make her own art, what she loves about being an art therapist, and why she thinks it works so well. (My conversation with Sara will appear on her blog in the next month or two. I’ll let you know when it’s out!)

Whether you are an established art therapist, or someone who is considering art therapy as a career, I hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did.
